On 23 and 24 October, the Espacio LuzVallekas in Madrid hosted the transnational meeting of the FADO – Finding Assistance, Delivering Outreach project.

The partner organisations reviewed the overall progress of the project to date and analysed the progress made in the training modules of the FADO itinerary, which will soon be digitalised and translated into the local languages (French, Italian, Serbian and Spanish). The session also served to begin preparations for the training sessions to be held in Serbia in June 2026, coordinated by MetaArte and Dah Teatar, in which the materials and methodologies developed will be put into practice. Likewise, the different strategies that can be implemented in each territory with the pilot phase- planned for September 2026- were explored. The project social media strategy and the project’s Control Quality Plan progress were also addressed and the next steps for the upcoming months were discussed.
The meeting was also attended by five psychologists and a social educator from the CAPSEM services in Madrid and the PMORVG in Arroyomolinos, who shared their experience and perspective as frontline professionals. Some of them will also attend the training sessions in Belgrade (Serbia) and participate in the implementation of the pilot in their respective services within the Community of Madrid.
With this meeting, the #fadoproject consortium consolidates its commitment to improving support, coordination and professional training in order to offer a more effective, comprehensive and humane response to gender-based violence, combining digital innovation, training and European cooperation.
